‘Apprentice’ Gets Hotter With Celebrities
Posted in: Places & Events · Wed, Feb 6th
Rather than competing for a cash prize and a prestigious position with one of Donald Trump’s many successful enterprises, this season’s contestants will fight for the honour of presenting their designated charity with a cheque for $250,000 when The Celebrity Apprentice premières on NBC and Global.
As Donald Trump said:
This will be the most exciting season of The Apprentice yet - maybe even better than season one. Our fourteen celebrity contestants are incredible individually, and as a group they will make this one of the hottest shows on television.
The lineup includes country singer Trace Adkins, rocker and reality TV host Gene Simmons, The Sopranos’ Vincent Pastore, actor Stephen Baldwin, actress Marilu Henner, model and actress Carol Alt and Tiffany Fallon, Playboy Playmate of the Year for 2005 and a former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader.
The show is heavy with athletes, too. Softball player and Olympic gold medallist Jennie Finch, fellow Olympian Nadia Comaneci, a Romanian gymnast who earned five gold medals, three silvers and one bronze, three-time heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis and Tito Ortiz, the Ultimate Fighting champion, will step up the competition.
And of course, there will be the villains. Omarosa - yes, the contestant from the first season of The Apprentice - returns to the boardroom.
Now, feel free to spend about 10 minutes watching Donald Trump discussing the upcoming Celebrity Apprentice with the cast of Fox News.
