Kate Moss To Be Molded in Gold

There's something about Kate Moss that makes people want to create art based on her. So, British sculptor Marc Quinn is ready to unveil his latest creation to the world, a nearly $2.8 million, 110-pound solid gold statue of the supermodel, hyped as the largest such creation built since ancient Egypt.
Here is what he says about his fabulously excessive creation:
I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who's the ideal beauty of the moment.
The sculpture will be on display in the new exhibition at the British Museum which will run from October 4 until January 25, 2009. Well, It seems someone has taken Kate Moss' role as fashion's golden girl rather literally.
It's not a fist time to create art inspired by celebrities, Daniel Edwards did it once! I wonder how much fame will attract if someone make a golden statue and mold Keeley Hazzel's boobs, Eva Mendes's Cuban curves, Megan Fox's cute face or Adriana Lima's brazilian ass.
