Posted in: Film & Music · Mon, Jan 28th
Filming on Bond 22 (the working title) has already started at Pinewood Studios. The plot is expected to follow on from the events of Casino Royale, with Bond picking up the pieces after being double-crossed by Treasury agent Vesper Lynd.
Olga Kurylenko will play the dangerously alluring Camille, who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper’s betrayal.
Miss Kurylenko is well qualified for her role in the action film. For Hitman she spent six months learning Chinese martial arts. She has said that she wants to follow in the footsteps of her countrywoman Milla Jovovich who has successfully swapped the catwalk for Hollywood. She also appeared in starring roles in Eric Barbier’s thriller “The Serpent” and Diane Bertrand’s “The Ring Finger”, for which she received the Best Actress award at The Brooklyn International Film Festival in 2006. She also recently had a role in Tyranny, directed by John Beck Hofman.
In her career as a top European model, Kurylenko has appeared in numerous advertising campaigns, including Kenzo, Helena Rubenstein and Just Cavalli. Her magazine covers include US Glamour, French Elle, Madame Figaro and Marie Claire.

I saw on some other sites that she is Gemma.
Goldy says:
Gemma is in the film as an agent, but she’s not the new Bond girl as was reported on some other sources.
