At 21 she auditioned for The Mask and was cast despite having no previous acting experience. She put together a string of well received independent features before landing her break out role in There’s Something About Mary (Sarah Silverman).

Her list of credits are as impressive as it gets, with roles in Being John Malkovich, Any Given Sunday (Lauren Holly, Elizabeth Berkley, Lela Rochon), Gangs of New York, Vanilla Sky (Penelope Cruz) Charlie’s Angels (Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu) and the sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, for which she earned 20 million dollars.

Her high profile relationships have kept her private life in the public eye for some time now. She has sued tabloid magazines for running libelous stories about her and won.
