Kelly always had big dreams of becoming a star. As a teenager, she studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London and, after graduating, she went on to study dance and appear in music videos. It wasn’t long before she was signed to a modeling agency. Her first big gig, for Bravissimo lingerie made for big breasted women, led to a job as a “Page Three girl” (aka topless model) for The Daily Star newspaper. The celebrity of being a Page Three girl landed her spreads in countless men’s magazines, including FHM and Loaded.

Eager to make the move from modeling to acting, Kelly worked as a presenter for MTV, Granada, and Trouble TV. In January 1999, Kelly made headlines for landing the high profile position of co-host on popular live morning show The Big Breakfast. The show gave her the household recognition she craved, but she failed to connect with the audience as her predecessor had. Rumors circled that Kelly was to be fired for being a beauty with no brains so she ditched the show and went back to presenting for MTV.

Kelly knows her body earns her a lot of appreciative male attention. In December 2000, Kelly landed a role in the play Eye Contact in which she played a stripper. She made headlines again as people clamored for tickets to see the play, mostly for the finale in which Kelly took it all off. And in 2005, she posed for a ten-page nude photo spread in Arena magazine that sold like crazy.

Inevitably, she set her sights on Hollywood and moved to Los Angeles. She’s had minor successes, including roles in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and a recurring role as Lex Luther’s girlfriend on the WB show Smallville (Kristin Kruek, Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Laura Vandervoort, Emmanuelle Vaugier). She had a bit part in The Italian Job (Charlize Theron), which co-starred her boyfriend of seven years, British actor Jason Statham. In 2004, she co-starred with actor Billy Zane in the indie flick Three and their on-screen chemistry led her to ditch Statham for a relationship with Zane, to whom she is currently engaged.

Kelly’s biggest successes continue to come from her looks and charm. She lent her name to a popular line of swimwear and lingerie for New Look stores and earned some major bucks when she signed on to be the face and body for Lynx body spray (Axe in the U.S.) Kelly tried her hand at writing by penning the fashion book Life Style: How to Pin Down the Pin-Up Within You in 2007, and is currently participating in the British reality competition Strictly Come Dancing. Now who needs an acting career when you’ve got all that?
